Faster Inlays

The JML Inlay Jig was created to solve a simple problem. Cutting clean, repeatable bow ties by hand takes time. This jig speeds up the process while keeping the handmade soul that makes bow ties special.

Easy Layout

Every bow tie starts as a rectangular blank. The jig includes center finders that make marking those blanks quick and accurate. Strike a centerline, drop the blank into the jig, and cut to the line. The process stays intuitive and efficient.

Bandsaw Ready

The jig is designed specifically for the bandsaw. The angled pocket ensures each blank meets the blade precisely, while the freehand approach keeps every bow tie feeling handmade and honest. No templates. No CNC.

Multiple Sizes

Magnetically stored spacer blocks allow a single jig to produce several bow tie sizes. Drop in the spacer you need, set your blank in place, and cut. The setup stays simple, fast, and consistent every time.

Functional Art

The JML Inlay Jig is more than a tool. Made from the most figured hardwoods in the shop, it brings a level of beauty rarely found in shop jigs. It elevates any workspace and inspires creativity and craftsmanship.

Limited Production

Each jig is made by hand in small batches, so inventory is often limited. If a hardwood catches your eye, it likely will not be around long.
