Live Edge Slabs
Each slab maintains the legacy of the tree from which it originated, adding a touch of grandeur to your favorite area. Showcasing distinctive grain patterns and naturally occurring flaws that Justin expertly transforms into features, no two slabs are alike, and these details will entice any viewer to take a closer look.
No Boring Wood
JML has become synonymous with highly figured wood. “Figure” refers to the natural variances in the wood that give a glass-smooth finished surface the appearance of three-dimensional texture. Justin has honed his finishing technique to bring these features to life with dramatic effect.

The JML wood shop is an ever-evolving project for Justin and the creative energy of the shop undoubtedly feeds into every aspect of his commissioned pieces.

Justin is the real deal!
Justin built me a gorgeous custom dining room table with a bench (don't be jealous) that I absolutely love and get tons of compliments on. Justin was incredibly kind and easy to work with. I reached out to him and shared what I was looking for, he allowed me to visit his workshop to approve at the wood he had selected prior to beginning to designing and build the table and included me in the details along the way. Justin was even able to deliver and assemble the table once it was completed. After receiving the table, I realized my dining area felt incomplete so I reached out again and Justin also made and installed a floating shelf for me to compliment the table. In addition, I have also purchased a serving board from Justin as a gift and that did not disappoint either! I am very satisfied with the products Justin has created, I highly recommend Justin's work!
Justin made us a beautiful live edge desk from a slab we loved in his workshop. It’s seen over 3 years of near daily use and still looks fabulous.

Justin made us the most beautiful table for our dining room. He worked with us to get the exact dimensions we needed, was able to source us a great piece, and worked with us on the so many questions we had. We get comments on it all the time telling us how beautiful the table is, and we have to agree. Completely makes the space.
Justin does beautiful work. I have 3 boards for myself. I’ve bought boards for Christmas gifts for family members and as a Realtor, I order charcuterie boards for all my clients for closing gifts. He goes the extra mile to stamp in their names. Everyone loves them and ohhhs and ahhhs over them. Attached is a picture of my fish board that JML did and I absolutely love it and had to have it. Ohh… and I love watching his Instagram reels on woodworking, he’s just great at what he does.
Justin created two amazing art pieces for our home. An amazing hand crafted Lake Wylie that is 8 ft tall and hangs over our fire place. We get compliments on it all the time. He also crafted New Zealand (my homeland) for a focal piece that hangs in my bookcase wall. Love his work! A true artist that can create anything!
